i guess i can be so independant because i don’t love. i don’t expect them to be there for me but i’m thankful if they do. people give me so much shit because i don’t believe in love, the only form of love i believe in is family. don’t force yourself to not love, though. it all depends on how you are and what you want, if you want to be independant while still have her as a best friend, she needs to understand that you don’t like leaning on other people and value independance. maybe you should open up to her and lean on her to a certain point, and from them on, you can keep things to yourself. i hope this helped, stay strong
